Outback, Firefly, Richard Harris, etc.

Mark and I went to the Outback Steakhouse for our wedding anniversary (It's tomorrow), and I am stuffed! We had cheese fries, then I had salad and the Alice Springs Chicken, while Mark had one of the steak dishes and salad. We practically had to roll each other out of the restaurant. (g)

After dinner, we went to Wal-Mart, so I could buy a replacement watch battery, then we came home and watched TV--Firefly and John Doe.

We both got some writing done. I'm doodling around with a setting for a story that I want to call Of Nightingales and Ravens, but I don't have a story idea for it, yet. All I know is how the magic system is set up. Very annoying. I have the Raven and the Nightingale characters, but they aren't speaking to me, yet. They're being sent off to combat some kind of Big, Bad Evil, but I don't know what it is. ::sigh::

I need to post the rest of Rakhailan's character questionnaire. I'm 3/4 done, but I haven't posted part 3, yet. I'm debating whether to put Rakhailan in IMS. I don't really like the Seraph version of angels, but it would be an interesting way to write him.

On the Pern front, I'm working on a story that Anna and I concocted, about Z'leena leaving StarRise for Sable Weyr, and I'm also reading over some stuff Kelli sent. Much fun!

I think I'm going to head off to bed, now. Very sleepy from dinner, and Suse's mention of being happily drunk on apple cider made me want to head to the grocery store for some of my own.

::Listening to news:: Eeek. It looks like the Moscow theatre situation was resolved rather bloodily. :(

I also heard that Richard Harris has died. :( I wonder who they will find to replace him as Dumbledore? I'll miss him. His Dumbledore was charming.
