Recipe for Puerto Rican Coquito

Puerto Rican coquito, which is a drink based on coconut milk and is similar to egg nog:

1 12oz can evaporated milk
1 14oz can sweetened condensed milk
2 14oz can coconut milk
1 8oz can cream of coconut
1 tbsp vanilla
1 tbsp cinnamon
1 to 2 cups of white or spiced rum ( add rum to taste)

Combine all ingredients and pour in glass bottles and store in refrigerator up to a year as long as it is in the refrigerator. The alcohol prevents bacteria growth.
For non alcoholic just omit the rum but it will not keep as long. Milk spoils.

Served chilled in small glasses. Garnish with ground nutmeg or cinnamon sticks. I estimate this makes about 40 ounces of coquito.
