Aerden [userpic]
Fifty-Two and Counting...10/30/2008

Characters Welcome: Today would be my character Paul Graves' 52nd birthday, if he were real. (g)

However, he isn't, so I am eating his chocolate and drinking his White Zinfandel.

Reality is sweet!

When Politics, Baseball, and Fandom Collide:

Dear Mr. Obama,

In a purely non-partisan spirit...Your infomercial and part of the World Series pre-empted Bones AGAIN, last night.

No love for you!

Voice Lesson: This week's lesson went a bit better than last weeks, but my breathing and voice support are still shot. My throat feels dry on high notes, so I tighten up, and my voice comes out squeaky or strangled-sounding. On the other hand, I don't have as much phlegm; I think the antibiotic is helping with that.

Health or Lack Thereof: I'm still taking the antibiotic (amoxicillin). I don't think my body likes it. Last night, I woke up wanting to throw up but never actually did. Went to work this morning still feeling delicate. Took the breakfast pill with no ill effects; we'll see how the supper one does. I am still tired at the end of the workday, which is becoming normal for me but didn't used to be. I fell asleep in the car on the ride home from the voice lesson.

Hallowe'en party at work tomorrow. Yea!

Writing: Oh, man, this is sad. I am actually considering not attending our Samhain ritual Sunday night (if it's held then) because I'll be doing NaNoWriMo. The Goddess is gonna keeeeel me.... Hm...I'll have to find out if anyone else in my coven is a'WriMoing.

Dave, are you doing NaNoWriMo? You should be, because you're wonderful and evil. (g)

Current Mood: tiredtired
Current Music: "Le Couteau" - Nadia Boulanger
NaNo NaNo

I'm kicking an idea around, though it's a bit late in the game. I still may do it; I get to take most of November off due to a bunch of vacation and comp time I've got to use or lose, and I'll need something to do to keep myself off the streets and out of trouble. :)

Re: NaNo NaNo

I'm sure Aerden and Escharrae would gladly help distract you from your potential boredome. Heh...

Yeah, last time I took amoxicillin, I think it made me feel icky, too, if I remember right. It had some kind of unforseen effect, anyway. It did make me better in the long run, though, so I think it was worth it, really.
