Does anyone know if Pantene Pro-V hair shampoo has changed its formula? The last several times I've washed my hair with the new bottle, it's left my hair feeling yucky. It takes forever to wash out the shampoo now, and my hair feels all slick and oily while washing; I can't get my hair squeaky clean the way I used to be able to. I checked the bottle, and it's the same shampoo--not for dry hair and not with conditioner. It's really annoying. I'm considering switching to a different brand.

Sometimes, you just need to change your shampoo. Your hair is overdone on one type of thing and needs more of something else. Switching will rebalance your hair.

I guess so! It's a shame, though, because the Pantene always used to leave my hair feeling clean and really good.

I use Sunsilk and it's really nice. I used to use Pantene Pro-V but I think that once your hair gets used to a certain kind of shampoo it stops working after awhile. Herbal essence is really good, too.

Have you noticed anything different in the taste of the tap water?

I've never used Pantene Pro-V. I use Selsun Blue Medicated, which makes me smell like my Grandpa's dog after he's had a bath. Apparently we have the same scalp condition--go figure.

Concur; sometimes you just need to change shampoo. I'll volunteer to help you test some out if you like...;)

Add another voice to the "change out your shampoo now and then" list. Whenever I run out of a particular shampoo, I never replace it with the same kind. Pantene Pro-V is one that I use, but I'll also use Head & Shoulders 2-in-1, and other "blended" shampoo/conditioner mixes. It seems to work... my sister has told me on many occasions that she's jealous of my hair, and I've had good comments from others too.
