A Boneless Wednesday

Happy Birthday, amritha!

TV: Waah! No new Bones. *sobs* No new Crossing Jordan, either. *double-sobs* My Wednesdays are ruined! (g)

*takes hasty refuge in CSI: Miami*

In the News: Boy, they'll grant a knighthood to anyone, these days. (g) Hugh Laurie is now a member of the Order of the British Empire for diverse acting efforts which have enriched his realm. Congratulations! Here is his filmography, courtesy of the Internet Movie Database.

All I can say is, Dr. House will be insufferable now--even more so than he is, already!

I wonder, did he sit a vigil?

Quote of the Day: Courtesy of matociquala.

Don't tell me the moon is shining; show me the glint of light on broken glass.

An OBE (Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire) isn't a knighthood just a chivalric honour. It's one a lot of people receive. Rod Stewart received a CBE (higher honour that OBE) as well recently.

Not Sir High

Viv--Ah! Thanks for the correction. Mark just said 'knighthood,' and I didn't look into it any further.

I was surprised to see how much work Laurie has actually done--quite a lot of children's programming, for example. Someday, I'd like to see 'A Bit of Fry and Laurie.'

Re: Hi

Hey, Meredith, it's great to hear from you! And that's wonderful news about having your own place. It's nice, being out on your own. :) How long have you been living in your apartment?
