Lunch!

Work: Today, I am feasting on General Tso's Chicken, pork fried rice, an egg roll, and won ton soup for lunch. There's a local place that delivers. It is so good!

I've been busy today. I unloaded three file drawers of archived files because we're getting new, lateral filing cabinets. Aside from that, it's been a day of requesting eye reports, ordering services for people, and answering the phone. Wonderful news that made my day--the typewriter that I had ordered for one of my consumers FINALLY arrived. I was so happy, I couldn't stop hugging the box it came in, this morning. (g)

The shootings at Virginia Tech are all in the news, but I've been at work so haven't heard a lot of the story, and when I come home, I write, so...The situation is pretty appalling. I didn't realize until yesterday evening that the number of fatalities from yesterday is more then twice those at Kent State.

Taxes: We actually got a significant amount of money back, this year! Oh, frabjous day! Last year, we got $6 back, which was better than having to pay more, but still nothing to jump up and down about. This year, we got over $300 back because of my 457 plan. I nearly fell off my chair when Mark told me.

We won't go to Ruth's Kris Steakhouse, but I suspect we'll find some nice way to treat ourselves.
