I'm thinking I might want to go there with just Mark for my birthday. I haven't had a Kahlua Kisser in a long time. (g)
Lent is over, so today I may officially drink alcoholic beverages and eat chocolate again. I'm thinking I'll keep this in strict moderation, though. I lost two pounds over Lent, and I rather like the feeling.
No hollow chocolate bunnies for me, but I do have Valentine's Day candy that I didn't eat before Lent, so I'll indulge in some of that.
I'm sleepy now. Waiting for baghdaelf to show up in YM.
Books: I've begun reading Sharon Shinn's Mystic and Rider.
Writing: It's fascinating to me how I no longer read books just for fun; now I read them to study their structure, to see where the author used hooks and plot devices and whether they worked.
Easter Chat: (between padfoot_uk and myself):
Aerden: *Wonders what Jesus would think of hollow chocolate Easter bunnies*
Padfoot_UK: Probably 'mmmmmm! yum!'
Aerden: Jesus: "Okayyy...Since when is my death and resurrection associated with...rabbits?" *scratches head*
Padfoot_UK: *chortle* It's eminently preferable to waking your kid up with a crown of thorns.
Aerden: Jesus: "Good point! And you're right; this is tasty. I never got to have any of these when I was a kid."
Dream, the afternoon of April 16, 2006: I dreamed that I was looking at a website that was either for a starship-based RPG or for writing a story. I was scrolling down the website, looking at the various types of starships I could join or set my story on. There were the typical Federation starship, the merchant mercenary ship, the Family ship, the scout ship, the prison ship, the fairy ship, and the last ship I saw in the dream was 'Crew Beholden,' meaning that the captain had something on everyone onboard, and they didn't really want to be there, but they couldn't get out of it. Then I woke up.
SPH/TA: I miss HEX--so, so much! We need to recreate HEX in two_alleys_rpg. Because if we don't, we could wind up with Seth and Piotr forming a rock band called Wand. *ahem*
