Many Thanks: Thank you so much to the mysterious person who sent me the virtual rose. I loved it! I'm a total sucker for roses, as chipperazzi can attest to. They're my favorite flower. I'm not much into planting rose gardens, but I love the history (and genetic history) of roses, rose migration, etc. I blame sphogwarts' Professor Sprout for this, from a Hogwarts homework assignment. I had never realized that roses could be so fascinating or that they had such an intriguing history until I did her assignment on roses.
Dinner tonight was a frozen pizza from the California Pizza Kitchen. It was delicious!
Gaming: Not much else going on that I can think of. The USS Charleston RPG has been very slow for the past two days, but this evening the DM posted five messages, none of which were meant for my character to respond to. *sigh* I really want to get moving on the mission, even though my character, a Bajorran who was raised during the Resistance and Cardassian occupation, has absolutely no use for war games.
"I have known nothing but real war, all my life. So the idea of participating in a war game against holographic opponents seems absurd at best, to me." --Dhuro Lanis
Yep, he's a charming guy, right up there with Aerden in the charm department.
No, Aerden, don't you even start!
