Well, I Wrote About Him...

It wasn't pretty. Nor was it what Paul wanted--at all.

The crazy thing is--I love writing about Paul when he's furious, frustrated, or in deep turmoil and feeling conflicted. I learn so many interesting things about him that way.

The Key To...

Work: Work was pleasantly busy today. I got a voice mail from one of my co-workers at the Lighthouse, Sandy, and I was overjoyed! :D I will call her tonight. :)

Writing: I also need to work more on the Paul thing, now that I have a clearer idea of what will happen. I'm not sure if what will happen fits with reality in the Wizarding World as JKR has drawn it--Paul is going to have to turn an evil spell into a not-quite-as-evil one, and I don't really know if that's possible, much less whether it's possible for him to do in a flash of inspiration.

But it's either change the evil spell in a flash of inspiration, or do the flat-out evil version of the spell--which he won't do. He decided that, if he must do the flat-out evil spell--he will surrender rather than do it. He's willing to face Avada Kedavra and Cruciatus, and lose all hope of rescuing his father, rather than cast the evil version on this particular victim. (Yes, Voldie made it hard on him.) So....

I really don't like writing something that might fly in the face of canon, now that I have more knowledge of what HP canon is than I did when I first joined SPH.

On the other hand, I guess if we only ever wrote what we were 'allowed' to write, writing would contain a lot less wonder. So I'll be audatious, anyway.

Later: Hm.....'Avada Kedavra' simply means, 'Let the thing be destroyed' in Aramaic. Holy moley, I think I can justify this...

Intervention - Bleah...

I am really ticked off that they're showing Intervention instead of my usual Tueday night Crossing Jordan rerun on A&E.

On the bright side, Paul is happy with me again. *snicker*

*wants Crossing Jordan! *stamps foot*
