Happy Apollo Day! On this date,35 years ago, Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong walked on the Moon, while Michael Collins orbited overhead.

I really think Collins should have demanded to go on the next mission, so he could get a chance to walk on the Moon, too. (g)

I hope the Moon-Mars Initiative will pass.

Other news: Mark and I went to see I, Robot last Friday, and I was very pleasantly surprised.

The film is not a direct adaptation of Asimov's novel. However, it is based on several of Asimov's robot stories, and I found the premise of the movie to be quite plausible and in keeping with what Asimov had set up.

The movie's crisis centers around a misinterpretation of the Zeroth Law by an artificial intelligence. The movie engaged my mind in a way that I didn't expect it to, and it had action and funny moments, as well. It richly deserves its #1 spot on the charts, this week. Will Smith has a winner in this one.

Best line: "You'll have to excuse me; I'm allergic to bullshit."
