I like the fact that it is not just a "How do we kill it?" movie. I also like the fact that the movie illustrates the point, 'It's not the weapon, but who uses it,' which is nicely foreshadowed earlier in the film. I anticipate a sequel.
It was very satisfying, as to action. There is a particular ejection sequence and aftermath that had me on the edge of my seat, biting my knuckles. Movies don't usually do that to me, nowadays. I was impressed.
Another thing I liked about this movie--None of the characters ever said, "Fuck!" even though there were quite a few moments when I would have considered it's use appropriate and well-justified. Kudoes to them for self-restraint!
Computer: *stares at computer screen* There is an effing news crawl across the bottom of my screen! *sigh* I guess it's some new feature of the latest version of EarthLink. Bleah. I get news crawls on the TV; I don't want them on my computer. How annoying.
And our cursor still disappears without warning for no apparent reason. Grr!
