Tomorrow, I get to do laundry, clean up our bedroom, and maybe get a little last-minute shopping done. Gah! Even with the Internet, you have to shop so much in advance, just to make certain the items get shipped to you in time. Sometimes, it's just easier to go to a store.
Tonight, Mark, Tom, and I are watching The Mummy Returns and thoroughly enjoying it. The kid who plays Alex, Rick and Evie's son, is wonderful, and I'm really surprised that he didn't wind up in one of the Harry Potter movies. All I can figure is that they must have thought he'd have stolen the show. (g)
I don't know if any of you have ever eaten Hawaiian Bread, but I just found out that, in addition to the round loaves, they also make rolls! So I'm going to see if I can find any of them for Christmas. My parents are being merciful and letting me just bring rolls, this year, as Mark and I are hosting Christmas for his family at our place. I plan on making macaroni and cheese from scratch. It is decadent stuff!
If I'm lucky, I'll be able to send out Christmas cards tomorrow. I'll keep my fingers crossed. And, somewhere in all this, I have to fit in a visit with my mobility instructor. ::sigh:: I really think the State Commission for the Blind should just leave off mobility instruction during December.
Well, I'm off to read friends' journals--and speaking of friends, please welcome chrisxa, richandme, and marvo to my Friends list. :) It's great to have you here!
Oooh! Jack Klugman is playing a jazz musician on an old episode of Twilight Zone! He is playing a really nice-sounding trumpet.
See you all later!
