LJ Time-Stamp: Hurray! My time-stammp is fixed!

Health: As the vision clouding has for the most part gone away, I will not be undergoing laser surgery in the near future. No real need to, right now.

Weather: Much nicer today than it was yesterday. It was nice to see the sun. :)

Writing: I've officially signed up to do NaNoWriMo this year, though, as I said before, I won't be aiming for the goal of 50,000 words in a month. Instead, I'm aiming for the best story I can write.

I have a Dakmir plot bunny that's jumping around in my head, but I don't want to use it. Very frustrating.

Meme: Nabbed from jecklar:

Wheee, NaNoWriMo!!!

Will you come to the Meet-Up on the 29th??? :D

Re: Wheee, NaNoWriMo!!!

You're doing NaNo, too? Far out! Yes, I believe I'll be there. It's somewhere on Westheimer inside the Loop, right?

Re: Wheee, NaNoWriMo!!!

EEEE!! I've been doing NaNo since 2002. ;) Yes, the Meet-and-Greet is at Central Market, at Wesleyan and Westheimer, on Sunday 29 Oct., from 2-6 (I think). :D There's a note in the Houston forum on the NaNoWriMo boards. We're a lovely, lively bunch, and I think you'll really enjoy it. It's like a Writer's Christmas--this is the only time we all get together in the year.

Brandie--Marvelous! I'm looking forward to it. :)

Apparently there are nine other people in the United States with my name. I knew there had to be more than one, because I googled my name once and reached a page that described me as a forty-something lawyer from Connecticut, or something like that, instead of a twenty-year-old English major from Indiana. It was a bit confusing.

There is also apparently someone from the State Department with my name. Sheesh.

Hee hee. I just looked up my brother's name, and according to that thing, not only does he not exist, but even if he did, he would be a woman.

Note to HowManyOfMe.com: Mackenzie is not necessarily a woman's name.

Sorry to keep bombarding you with posts, but that name finder is pretty fun. I'll be playing with it all night now.

The name "Flaspohler" is not in their data base. They have clearly never been to Franklin County, Indiana. That place is overrun with Flaspohlers.

There are at least six other people named Gaudiano in the US (my parents, for instance!), but their database didn't contain the name, so apparently they don't exist. (g)

I knew it. I was hatched! It explains a lot.
