Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy!

TV: The following lyrics are from a proposed Folger's Coffee commercial. Imagine a chorus of people all dressed in sunshiny yellow jumpsuits and mini-skirts, singing cheerily outside your bedroom window at 5:40am:

Happy morning! Happy morning!
Wake up, you sleepyhead!
You can sleep when you are dead.

*giggles* There is an online video of it, somewhere. You have to see it to believe it.

Princeps Senatus
You scored 95%!

Congratualtions! You have been voted to be the First Counselor of the Senate. Your eloquence with the Latin tongue is well-known, and you have been elevated to a position of authority within the Senate. You are always the first to speak at the Senate meetings (after the Emperor, of course) and are a very powerful ally (or enemy) to have. More than likely, you have the backing of some of the military, which could come in handy should you ever decide that being the Princeps Senatus is not enough for you...

That's the sort of jingle you'd expect to hear in the morning in the Twilight Zone . . . yikes.

--Kris

Mark told me it was the sort of song that would make him sleep with an assault rifle, just so he could blow all of the singers away as soon as they started up--and then go right back to sleep. (g)

Oh, dear God, yes. I wholly agree with Mark--I'll do anything to ensure I have a peaceful morning's sleep.

--Kris

I'd love to be able to do that to people who mow their lawns at 8:00am on Saturdays--but here in Houston, it gets so hot during the day that you practically have to mow your lawn in the early morning, because that is when it's still cool outside. *sigh*
